An observation of a winter’s day at the Jubilee pool out of season,

looking out from inside the cafe. The energy was much calmer than in

the summer, but the pool still felt like such a treasured meeting place for

people, and it has something for the community all year round.

I loved observing all the different blues from the pool water, the sea

horizon and the expansive blue/grey sky. It’s the colours and shapes

of the Jubilee Pool that make me want to paint it forever!
